RHP Taylor Jungmann
The right-hander is one of the most accomplished pitchers in the NCAA. He compiled a 0.95 ERA prior to the postseason and was the undisputed ace on a very talented University of Texas pitching staff.
At 6-foot-6, Jungmann gets very good downhill movement on his pitches. His fastball sits 91-93 MPH and can touch higher. He works it down in the strike zone very well and generates a good amount of groundballs. That plus-fastball is complemented by a very good curveball that has defined, two-plane break and a changeup that has reportedly improved throughout the spring.
LHP Jed Bradley
Milwaukee drafted a 6-foot-4 lefty to pair with Jungmann in this draft class, and Bradley is also considered one of the more advanced and safe pitchers in the draft. Unlike Jungmann, however, Bradley put up disappointing numbers for much of his collegiate career and has only come on the scene recently.
He improved dramatically over the past year — especially in Cape Cod — and posted a 3.49 ERA with Georgia Tech. This includes a 9.73 K/9 strikeout rate and a 2.85 BB/9 walk rate. His fastball sits comfortably in the 91-94 MPH range and has reportedly touched 97 MPH. Bradley maintains his velocity deep into games due to his big frame and even has a bit of projection left in him.
